The watercolor art paintings are watercolor flowers painted in a variety of compositions of loose, luminous florals with soft washes forming delicate petals and stems that feel fresh and effortless. The various paint washes of translucent layers create depth and light. Each art piece is completed with a coordinating paint splatter and the artist’s signature splatter of shiny gold. The watercolor artist personally signs each watercolor painting.

FEATURED PRODUCT - MARDI GRAS
The current featured product is “Mardi Gras”, an enticing 5” x 7” floral watercolor painting of three large loose flowers in hues of blue and purple. The method used in painting this art piece is the wet on wet technique. Clear water is applied to the paper in the shape of the flowers. Various layers of paint are then added to the water producing a loose, airy look creating translucent petals that seem to float in the air. Whimsical sage green stems balance the composition. Completing this artwork are splatters of the same blue and purple paint along with the artist’s signature splatter of delicate shiny gold paint. Each original work of art is personally signed by the artist.
The gallery below displays the art by itself, with a mat, and with a mat and frame. Adding a frame that mats a 5” x 7” painting transforms the art piece to a larger size while your eyes are drawn into the painting. Mats and frames shown in these examples are not included with the sale of the painting. They are used only to demonstrate another way to showcase the art.
